It is with pride and privilege we make known to our invaluable clientele that about eight decades ago a man with a golden vision - no less a person than Late Shri Shantilal Thakarsey Shah - our grandfather started the firm in a small way but with a strong base.

After... years of solid foundation, the reins were handed over to his worthy son Late Shri Himatlal Shantilal Shah, i.e. Our beloved father, then to Mr. Mukesh H. Shah and Mr. Rajen H Shah, the worthy brothers – the current Senior working partners to which hierarchy have now joined their respective sons, Mihir M Shah and Ritesh R Shah injecting young blood, with a futuristic outlook.

It is indeed a happy moment to say that we belong to the 3rd and 4th generation down the line and that it is due to the hard work, devotion and dedication of our forefathers that Shantilal Thakarsey & Sons (STS) is what it is today. The gigantic look that it wears is the resultant fruits of our forefathers to whom we are immensely indebted. Also we are privileged to say that we have among our staff workers belonging to the 3rd generation above the line. This has not only exhibited exemplary staff-management co-operation but also a great clientele satisfaction born out of customary credibility and rapport.

Today STS has a wide experience in efficient docks and customs operations for both import and export clearances mainly at 3 sectors – Mumbai and Nhava Sheva docks for sea shipments, and Mumbai Air Cargo for air shipments. Our operations are greatly facilitated by the fact that we have separate staff net work at different points which has injected independence and efficiency.

The fact that our Customers House Agents License is as old as our service itself only speaks volumes for our expertise, service know-how and efficient and time-bound completion of the tasks on hand

Needless to add, this has been made possible over the years by the unstinted patronage and co-operation extended by our invaluable clientele who are thick and robust and widespread.
